OMG i know totally football is totally omg and i love it. Like yeah. So waine runey- shrek huh?
and david becks and micheal owen. I totally love them and shizzel. You know?
No doubt it was not a penalty last night but i take excpetion to the biased views, they are never balanced! Kenny Dalglish blames foreign players yet he only has to look at his own club captain Steven Gerrard to see how many times he dives, in fact did he not see the CL game V Aletico last season?
I also don't recall ITV going on & on about that one or indeed the Babel dive against Arsenal in the CL a couple of years back. Both, incidently, critical decisions not one that made no difference to
Eduardo Dived. Plain and simple. DIVE DIVE DIVE. I've totally lost my respect for arsenal. That was a complete and utter disgrace. Over both matches, players have fallen to the ground, with the touch of a feather. Some players don't even need a touch. They just like to fall. Complete Joke.
If it wasn't a penalty, then why wasn't Boruc booked, as Goalies and players are for bringing a player down in the box. Why was some channels not even showing the 'penalty'. Big teams always get protected.
Gutted for you Robbso, very sad to see hard working honest well run clubs go like that. Sad for West Brom too.
I feel that after about 9 minutes tonight, United thought "oh this is going to be easy, but we must make it interesting, give them a goal, & "we" could get it back as usual. But Barca given the opportunity will just play keep ball. United chased the game but couldn't do it again, you cannot give teams like Barca an inch - thery'll take mile. Once in front, that was it, wasn't it!
Who played well tonight? no-one really, after the first 10 min
Cradle, I was not attacking Arsenal or questioning Wenger. I ewas supporting them. Hence my comments on Wengers annual acts of genius. Read my posts again.
I was attacking their board. Wenger has been left high and dry? Have you not read the minutes of that meeting? Have you not been made aware of how these fans questioned his judgement, transfer policy and then the board, Hill-Wood aside, sat back and let him take all the flack without so much as standing up for
I think the people who've been casting doubt on Wenger's methods ought to be banned from Arsenal for life and locked up in an asylum.
Lets get one thing straight: Arsenal football club is under no obligation to deliver titles in the short term. There is no rule saying that if we fail to win a trophy for four years we are suddenly a failure as a football club or that the business model ought to change.
It's pathetic, the short-sightedness of a great many members of th
Anyone else out there who can't wait for Maria to finally have this baby?
She looks like the side of house at the moment and she's the fittest one in it. I won't be watching again again until she's dropped itbv.
Poor form ITV, why not make Fizz or someone pregnant, no-one would notice if she got a bit fatter.
Slightly mis-leading. Liverpool and United have recouped a lot of money back on other transfers, although Chelsea are comfortably the biggest spenders with those kind of figures.
Over the last 5 years I think United's NET spend is something like £89m according to that website, is it not? Whilst Liverpools is something like £117m and Arsenal's is something ridiculous like £20m-odd?
What it does show is that for all Rafa's complaining a
Robbso, when you put it like that it doesn't sound so unbelievable?
United could very well hammer Hull and Villa are likely to beat Newcastle so all may not be lost.
At the same time, United could well play a team of kids and end up giving Hull the points they need to stay up......
But this is ridiculous.
Apparently this is a table of what the Premier league clubs have spent (net) over the last five years.
Boro have spent more than us
Chelsea —£352,940,000
Liverpool —£202,445,000
Man United &mdas
The game in this country tuned into a professional sport in 1961, the only part that still needs to change is the refs.
Most refs still do two jobs although they don't have to, the money they get paid in a week for being a ref is a lot better than most get in a month.
It's time now for the league to restructure the refs association and bring in full time refs, they need,, just like players to have the time to analyse their performance, and work on fitness and other related football matters, i
If we started giving dedicted boards to minor leagues like the SPL then pretty soon we'd have to give the Welsh a seperate board, then the Irish, the Northern Irish, the Cornish and the Manx would all get one.
I don't want this forum to be flooded with Welsh, Irish, Cornish and Manxmen, there are enough Man United fans here as it is.
What do you think of this list?
Missing some good kids like Rodwell and Jonny Evans, but a good list nonetheless.
What is the name of the track that you often use when introducing the studio lads on the fa cup coverage? It sounds like it is on a loop.
Cheers
Ive heard this a few times now during Itv's coverage of the football, the instrument from the tune sounds a bit like an accordian (sp) and with a band playing in the background. If anyone has been watching the Spain V England match, they played it at the start of the programme.
Any help appreciated as its been bugging me!
Itv are an embaraasment. How on earth you think you deserve to broadcast any sport ever again after that shambles is beyond belief!?! You manage to ram down the viewer's throat constantly, time and time again, how the action is "live and exclusive" on your mickey mouse channel but infuriatingly when the action actually happened you missed it. Shocking.
Maybe you should concentrate on less gimmicky slogans and boasts about what you're trying to do, spend less on second rate dull pr
Firstly let me say that today a new record was set. It was over an hour before any remarks were passed about how great Man U are.
Secondly are'nt the presenters & "Experts" supposed to point out all the little things that we mere mortals miss. Like the shoulder charge on Carlton Cole half a second before he collided with the goalkeeper. It was that that caused them to collide. Was the ball not handled twice just before the penalty? once admittedly just outside the a
Good programme. Poor start!
The first comments made on your first FA cup match on Saturday (late kick off), was to start giving all the previous results earlier that day. Big mistake!
What about all those supporters who like to enjoy the highlights programme later without knowing the score? BBC and Sky don't do that. If you feel that you must, to fill in the long lead time to kick off, at least give a warning to turn down the sound or look away.
Otherwise the cov
